“Be Kind, reBynd” encapsulates our philosophy of creating and living more sustainably. Every decision reflects our intention to be kinder to Mother Earth. The idea for reBynd was first inspired by our parent company Bynd Artisan’s efforts in reducing wastes and environmental impact. The desire to do more to be part of the solution turned into a vision that became reBynd, where we now implement circular economy processes, and work with eco-conscious suppliers from Germany, Italy, Australia and Japan to craft high-quality, low-impact products using recycled, upcycled and renewable raw materials.

reBynd is launched in 2022 by James Quan and Winnie Chan, the founders of Bynd Artisan, which modernised the traditional art of bookbinding and leather-and-paper craft into a creative experiential lifestyle brand with a focus on personalised gifting. The company’s growing efforts in reducing environmental impact and wastage through optimising, upcycling and recycling materials eventually led to the birth of reBynd, where we’re committed to creating products sustainably and responsibly.
